Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using WeldShift (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WeldShift is an AI-powered welding certification preparation and business management platform. Features include exam prep, flashcards, AI knowledge oracle, WPS/PQR and WPQ management, invoicing, job tracking, timesheets, and third-party integrations with QuickBooks and Gusto.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

WeldShift offers a free trial followed by paid subscription plans. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@weldshiftacademy.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include attempting to reverse engineer the platform, sharing account credentials, using the Service to generate false certifications or fraudulent documents, or violating any applicable law or regulation.

6. AI-Generated Content

WeldShift uses AI to generate responses, exam questions, and document content. AI-generated content is provided for educational and operational assistance purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, certified inspection decisions, or legal advice. Always verify critical information against the applicable code or standard.

7. Third-Party Integrations

WeldShift integrates with QuickBooks Online (Intuit Inc.) and Gusto. Your use of these integrations is also subject to their respective terms of service. WeldShift is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of WeldShift — including exam questions, study guides, UI design, and code — are the exclusive property of WeldShift and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. WeldShift does not guarantee that exam prep content will result in certification success. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeldShift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@weldshiftacademy.com.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
