WeldShift collects information you provide when creating an account (name, email, password), using the platform (exam responses, certifications, job and timesheet data, invoice data), and connecting third-party services (QuickBooks, Gusto). We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used to improve the platform.
We use your information to provide and improve WeldShift services, process payments via Stripe, send transactional emails (invoices, study reminders, certification expiry alerts) via Resend, sync data with connected services you authorize (QuickBooks, Gusto), and communicate with you about your account and product updates.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Each service is governed by its own privacy policy. WeldShift only shares data with these services as required to provide the features you use.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@weldshiftacademy.com. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days.
WeldShift uses cookies solely for authentication session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@weldshiftacademy.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
